Christine Ko
Christine Ko is a Brisbane-based visual artist whose practice spans installation and photomedia. Her work explores themes of place, belonging and the experience of living between cultures and identities. Drawing from her own Chinese-Australian migrant experience, Christine uses personal storytelling and autoethnographic methods to examine spaces of liminality and hybridity, reflecting on feelings of hope, invisibility, aspiration and shame that can arise from existing between Eastern and Western worlds.
